I have finally had all of my scans and started PT. I'm blessed with fatty liver disease, very common my doc says, just eat better. Oh Jebus, like I have not been trying. My physical therapist says I have abdominus recti; a condition where the abdominal muscles spread apart during pregnancy and sometimes do not go back together. If PT is introduced soon after childbirth, it could have possibly be fixed, but 31 years later?! I had recently noticed it while trying to get out of bed in the morning, thinking I had one hell of a abdominal muscle. It happens to men too so that's why I'm going to show you a man gut and not my own. It doesn't hurt but it's gross. She also said I have a significant hernia and should try to get into see my doctor asap. She's had to modify some of my therapy so I don't strain any abdominals which is hard if that's what we're trying to correct. I was able to get in to see her and she said I have 2 hernias, abdominal and umbilical...
