Changing Of The Yard
Did you ever have an idea to do something that sounded so hard and daunting, but you actually talked your family into doing it? Well I did and they don't hate me.....yet. I had seen ads on Instagram regarding drought resistant gardens and thought the idea sounded pretty cool. There are so many plants available in any area that would work in this type of garden. The main reason for wanting to do this is that our lawn in the front yard is so lumpy due to tree roots on one side and fairy ring on the other. We've held it at bay for several years with soap and water applications but now the lawn just looks gross and Tony is tired of mowing. Plus, a drought tolerant garden uses less water and will no doubt add to the value of our house. Strictly for financial reasons, we knew we had to do this all on our own.
