A Change Of Scenery
Last Thursday Faith and I flew to Seattle for a girls weekend. We stayed at Belltown Inn, which was walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to see. The motel was decent but overlooked a major corner of noise and homeless people so we just made a point to be back before dark. Getting to the motel from the airport was interesting. We walked about a hundred miles to the light rail station, then rode to the drop off station downtown. It was about 6 blocks to the motel and our room was actually ready before noon which was great. After some rest we headed to Pike Place Fish Market. This is the famous gum wall. If you have a germ phobia, this probably isn't a place for you. We had a great seafood meal before heading back to the room. My new phone has a night setting so we went to the rooftop one night. Kind of impressed!
