Young, Old, and Forever Loved
Last week we had one new dog and a returnee with us. Fozzy's family wanted to spend the whole day at a water park so it was easier just to have him stay over night. He was a rescue from Texas and very shy with new people. When I hear the word 'rescue', I kind of cringe. Not knowing what a dog has gone through, they carry their own baggage. We had a meet and greet and I wasn't totally convinced that he would like us. He isn't crazy about men so Tony was on the outs again. Fozzy did better than expected though, quickly warming up to Faith and I, and eventually Tony. Another one, just 2ish years old had us hopping but he was pretty well behaved. It was pretty rainy so we didn't get to spend a lot of time outside. He would have, but I wasn't so willing. Although he did poop in the house during the night (thanks Faith for cleanup on aisle 9), we would have him again.
