Tony's BFF
Tony finally got his Cpap set up and since his oxygen drops too low at night, he needs added oxygen to the line. His little friend sits in the living room and the line runs to the bedroom. Boy, it sure brings back memories of Mom. He's doing good and has adapted well with it. He had to do an overnight oximetry study on Friday to make sure he's getting enough oxygen, then we can turn it up if needed. I had something really weird go on with my eye a few weeks ago. It felt like I had an eyelash it, just slightly irritated. Then I started seeing flashing lights, floaters and black dots, as well as blurred vision. I was able to get in to my doctor quickly and she said it was a vitreous detachment. The vitreous membrane just separates from the retina and floats away; just poof and it's gone! The symptoms are supposed to go away in 3 months or so. She said it was an age related and it would probably happen to the other eye too. I can deal with the floaters but the blurred vision...
