Feel Like Complaining

After my accident, we had two little dogs at home which overall were easy to take care of just for a weekend. The little girl, Mauly was very shy at first. This resulted in no eating, pooping on the floor and throwing up. The little boy Murphy was very friendly, but also a marker. He peed in the house 4 times that we were aware of. Did I say they were easy? I finally put a belly band on him which solved the problem. He didn't like it but got used to it in time. Mauly Murphy I've had some cancellations which sucks, but has also been nice to have some downtime. The owner of Winnie who was going to be with us for over a week had messaged me asking if I could do drop ins for her cat because her friend couldn't do it. Although it would have been difficult, I told her I would. By that evening though she cancelled everything. She must have had to cancel her trip to China for some reason. Before last week I had experienced only one car accident when I was a 16 year old passenger with some dumb drunken  guys; and I was a dumb drunk girl. But last Sunday my good driving record was ruined by a woman who blew through a red light. I was driving home from a current sitting job just to see off our boarder, then I was going to go back to her house after spending some time with the family. Two blocks away from my house I was going through the intersection when I saw this flash of blue to my left and then heard the crunching of metal. When I finally came to a stop, my car had spun 90 degrees to the right facing oncoming traffic a half-block away. I remember a man coming up to my window and asking if I was alright, then telling someone to call 911. He helped me out of the car and waited for the police with me. We've had this cute little repeat Ally with us for over a week. She's 12 years old and doesn't do much except follow anyone who gets up, and is very partial to the kitchen where she can beg for treats. We've only got one walk in while she's been here and I'm looking forward to better weather to get out with the doggos. Over the weekend I stayed with Winnie, a 9 year old Boxer mix and her new kitty companion Blinkin. I don't know how I ever survived kittenhood of the many cats I had. They are APITA! Winnie is pretty cool though and she'll be staying with us in a few weeks for awhile. I got a coupon for a free reusable bag from Shutterfly recently. I had one a few years ago and made one with Nellie's picture on it, but didn't want to use it and get it all gross. I put pictures of 6 of my favorite dogs on it and it can be used for my sitting jobs. It will be a nice memento some day when I am old and no longer herding dogs and cats. Yo...

What have I been up to you ask? I've got too many pictures so you get a collage today. We have, in no particular order in just the past two weeks--Annabelle, Murray, Tobie, Cairo, Tuxedo, Hans, Cooper, Ava, Daisy, Tazzie, Ruffie, Loki, Talia, and 4 other cats who I will never learn the names of. These critters are from sitting, bording, and one drop-in. I am currently at the log cabin I was at almost two years ago. A lot of snow around, but thankfully the neighbor does the plowing. I'm in charge of 3 dogs and 6 cats here. I've learned how to make a fire in the wood stove and feel like a pioneer woman, ha. This is the place where the well water smells like rotten eggs (sulfer) and taking a shower is so gross. Faith came out yesterday to have lunch so it was a nice way to break up the time.
