Weird Shit
In preparation for Tony's upcoming surgery they say to make sure you see a dentist to take care of any issue you have. He's had dentures for over 35 years so that was a moot point. One day he was putting his uppers in and didn't get enough cream in it and something hurt. I took a look and it was white and looked like a tonsil stone although between his gum and cheek was an odd place for one. I poked it with some tweezers and it went clink! What in the frickity frack could that be?
I made him an appointment with my dentist and after an x-ray it showed a full grown wisdom tooth coming in. They were all very surprised to say the least. Luckily it wasn't infected and in such a place that with his dentures properly gooped up, it doesn't bother him. We'll just wait it out until the day it does. But dang, that was weird.
Last week I was cutting back some plants and something landed on my arm. I thought it was a leaf until it crawled up my neck and took a tour around my head. It stayed for awhile, then I bent my head down so he could hop off. I'm sure glad I didn't cut it in half! That was weird, but cute.
Our bathroom sink is notorious for running slow but one day it decided it was just going to stop. You would not believe all the things I tried, because I am cheap and didn't want to call a plumber. The last thing was supposed to work in 7 minutes, 15 minutes max. The sink said nope! The water that was standing turned the most putrid orange baby poop color so I conceded and told Tony to call a plumber. It was so gross and stinky that I had to close my eyes to go into the bathroom. Somedays I'm a little gaggy anyway and that was not helping. Be thankful I couldn't even take a picture of it or you would be gagging too.
I had to go to Kody's the next day so Tony was left to deal with it all. Good planning on my part. They came early in the morning and snaked it and all was good. Clog gone, stink gone, and teeth can be brushed where they should be. Weird, but not cute at all.
A weird smell is going on at Kody's house. The living room had a slight smell of skunk, not overwhelming but still there. After a few days I finally asked her if they had a problem with skunks. I don't like to tell people their house stinks, but thought they should know. She said she has never even seen one around there. I went around super sleuthing with my nose and couldn't find a source. It was only the living room, no where else. She told me where a candle was and that helped quite a bit. Maybe something got in the garage which is right next to the living room, but I'm not going to check it out!
